Yachts will take to sea for village's regatta

Whitehills will be holding its sailing regatta this Saturday.

Yachts will be heading out of the village’s marina, with the racing starting in the bay from noon.

Those taking part in the races should meet at the port at 9.30am on Saturday.

Once the events have been completed a meal and prize giving will be held at the pavilion at the nearby Blackpots playing field.

A charity auction will also be held, which will raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
