SSE Beatrice windfarm fund gives total of £17,639 to four Moray causes

Grants of more than £17,500 have been handed to four local causes by SSE's Beatrice offshore windfarm in its latest round of donations.

Fochabers Institute will get £5000 to update its air conditioning system.

The Moray arm of Marie Curie, which provides care and support for people with a terminal illness, is set to receive the same amount.

Also in line for £5000 is the Citizens Advice Bureau in Elgin, which provides advice to people right across Moray.

Finally, the Moray Baby Bank, which was set up last year to support young families, has been given £2639.
