Wild About Aden returns

Visitors are expected to flock to the popular Wild About Aden family event which will be held in Aden Country Park, Mintlaw on July 11 and 12 from 11am to 3.30pm.

The event has a full programme of activities suitable for all ages.

Wild About Aden is one of Aden Country Parks most popular events and each year attracts thousands of people over the two days.

The event promotes family learning through hands on activities.

This year’s event will include a wide range of activities including: Wheelie Fun, Aberdeenshire Ranger Service, Techfest, Shape Up Peterhead, Rock Doctors and lots more.

Alongside the activities the event will feature food vendors who will be selling: burgers, donuts, ice creams and lots more.

The Aden Café will also be open during the event.

Visitors are also encouraged to bring along picnics.

Buchan Development Partnership’s Development Officer, Justine Tough said, “We are excited to welcome families to Aden Country Park for Wild About Aden.

"This year’s event has a full programme of fun and educational family activities.

"The event will be the perfect start to the Summer holidays!”

Wild About Aden is free to attend with a charge for some of the activities.

No booking is required for the event.
