HUNTLY-based arts organisation Deveron Projects is to launch a new art trail map in the town.
Featuring 14 artworks selected from the organisation’s Town Collection, which contains over 80 pieces, the map spotlights work done by the organisation's resident artists.
Zuzana Fryntova, project coordinator at Deveron Projects manages the Town Collection.
“We are so excited to be launching the Town Collection map in August," she said.
"There have been Huntly art maps made before but this one introduces new artworks - which were installed just this year.”
The map will be launched on Saturday, August 5 at the Huntly Farmers’ Market, where Deveron Projects has a regular stall.
Hosting family-friendly activities, the stall will have the new maps available for people to pick up and start exploring the collection at their own pace.
Two walks are also being hosted to share more information about the map and its artworks.
A guided walk of selected artworks around the square will begin at 10am on August 5, and a full tour of artworks will start at 11.30am.

From Wednesday, August 9, maps will be available in six locations, including Huntly Train Station, Orb’s Bookshop and the Visitor Centre by Huntly Castle.
