WATCH: Trishaw comes to Kemnay as Cycling Without Age Scotland launches in the town

Cycling Without Age Scotland -Kemany launched on Saturday as the new trishaw was put through its paces.

Hosted at Essentials on Station Road in the town, visitors were welcomed to see the bike being launched and support fundraising thanks to stalls being run by local crafters.

Through generous community and business support along with extensive fundraising, the team of volunteers now have a trishaw available for the community.

The Kemnay group joins a growing list in the north-east with Cycling Without Age Scotland - Inverurie starting last June, plans in progress for Ellon and other groups already in place across Aberdeenshire and Moray.

Group lead and spokesman Graham Watson thanked an extensive list of people who had been involved in bringing the project forward and supporting the efforts to get the group up and running.

He also welcomed guest Radio Scotland presenter Rachel Stewart who recently featured the groups efforts on Out of Doors and head of Cycling Without Age Scotland, Christien Bell who travelled up from Larbert to see the group launch.
