WATCH: Santa Claus visits Banff with Reindeer Parade
Banff was full of festive cheer on Sunday when Santa made one of his last visits to the town before Christmas Day at The Spotty Bag Shop Reindeer Parade.
Large crowds of people descended on the town's streets to see Santa, Mrs Claus, a variety of colourful characters and the reindeer from The Cairngorm Reindeer Herd take part in the parade.
Before it set off from the store there was a chance for people see the local emergency services' vehicles including Banff police, fire engine, ambulance, coastguard and Macduff lifeboat.
There was also an opportunity to get photos with a variety of characters which included festive favourites, Disney's Frozen, Minions, Peppa Pig, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Spencer and Star Wars.
Banff Castle Pipe Band led the parade when it set off from the store which featured the emergency services, groups including Rainbows and Boys' Brigade, the various characters and Santa, Mrs Claus, elves and the reindeer.
Throughout the day children were able to meet Santa and Mrs Claus in their grotto, and the reindeer at their area outside.
There was also an opportunity to have a train ride on Tam O'Shunter.
Deveron FM provided the festive tunes and there was a range of refreshments on offer.
