WATCH: 'One of the best clubs in the World': Buckie Thistle will enjoy their moment against Glasgow Celtic

EVERYONE associated with Buckie Thistle deserve the reward of a game against Glasgow Celtic – one of the biggest clubs in the World, says former Jags coach Frank McGettrick.

Glasgow-born McGettrick has been a Celtic supporter all his life.

However, the former postman has lived in Buckie for years and was coach under Graeme Stewart and Lewis MacKinnon until he left in the summer to take over the manager's job at Lossiemouth.

The Jags will enjoy a payday on January 21 when they face Celtic in the 4th round of the Scottish Cup at Parkhead.

McGettrick still has great affection for Buckie Thistle and says the plum draw was well deserved for players, management, committee and supporters.

He predicts a good support will travel down from Buckie for the game.
