The Bon Accord Steam Club members and guests returned to Castle Fraser on Saturday and Sunday as the Steam and Vintage Fair made a welcome return.
Drawing owners from across the north-east and northern England, the vintage steam powered machinery proves a huge draw each year, with thousands attending the event over the two days.
Spectators were treated to a historic mix of machinery, ranging from the largest machine, a very rare ploughing engine which operated in Africa for many years on a sugar plantation, through road rollers that worked in the north-east, steam powered waggons, traction engines, rare showman's engines and small scale builds of their larger counterparts.
This year also saw the welcome return of the dodgems which proved a great hit, and the extensive display of locally owned vintage tractors, trucks and military vehicles brought admiring glances.
Static displays this year also included local road traffic police, woodworking, scale metal modelling and several owners groups.
