Warm welcome for Emmerdale stars

DROPPING in at the Drouthy Laird, Blackhall Road, Inverurie on Saturday were two well kent faces for fans of TV's long-running Emmerdale,Chris Chittal and Lawrence Robb aka Eric Pollard and McKenzie Boyd.

During the morning the pair had been on a tour of Inverurie shops, including J G Ross, Sinclairs, Strachan's, The Whisky Shop and finishing up at Davidson butchers for mealie puddings, Chris's favourites.

The pair then headed to Ellon as guests of the Rotary Club for a fundraiser held on behalf of Charlie House at the New Inn.
