Members of the public have been invited to give their views on regenerating paths in the Banff area.

Working alongside local groups and community councils, Aberdeenshire Council wants to revitalise the path network enabled by external funding.

People living in Whitehills, Banff or Macduff can give their opinions on the topic.

An Aberdeenshire Council spokesman said: “Every response will be individually reviewed, so please help us to get it right by completing our short survey – there’s also space for you to share extra comments.”

The survey can be completed by visiting here. It is now live until midnight on Thursday, May 16.

The spokesman added: “Getting active outdoors is good for us all; coastal paths help visitors enjoy our amazing coastline, and that supports our local businesses, too.

“Working with community councils and various clubs, groups and businesses we’ve started to think about path improvements between Whitehills and Banff, and Macduff to Tarlair, but we need your ideas and suggestions, too.

“We need to gather your feedback to help us shape the plans for which we will apply for external funding.”
