AN update to Moray's coronavirus figures has shown the area has had 86 confirmed cases since the outbreak began.
As of Sunday, June 15, there were 78 confirmed cases in Moray.
However, there has not been a big spike in outbreaks in the area.
The rise comes due to the Scottish Government's system for tracking cases by local authority being updated to include those tested at UK government testing centres.
The eight additional cases, therefore, could have been confirmed any time between the outbreak in March and now.
Grampian-wide, there are now 1410 confirmed cases of coronavirus. This is a rise of 116 cases. Again, these cases may have occurred any time since the outbreak began.
Aberdeenshire (pop: 261,500) has 477 confirmed cases of covid-19, up from 438 when UK government testing data is included, while Aberdeen City (pop: 227,500) has 828 (previously 764) cases. Highland (population 235,500) has 209 positive cases, an increase of 12 when new data is included.
Grampian-wide there were 50 people in hospital due to coronavirus at midnight, with fewer than five in intensive care.
Across Scotland, 220,198 people have been tested through NHS Scotland labs and UK government testing centres to date. Of these 202,121 were confirmed negative and 18,077 were positive.
A total of 3941 inpatients have been discharged from hospital since March 5.
