Update: A90 Toll of Birness reopens after earlier accident

The A90 northbound of Ellon reopened in both directions after an earlier accident at Toll of Birness.

The incident took place at around 11am at Toll of Birness, 12 miles south of Peterhead and which saw it closed for over eight hours while investigation work took place.

A 64-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a result of the incident which involved two lorries and a car.
