Ukrainian families join Moray friends to celebrate Coronation of King Charles III

UKRAINIAN families living in Moray will be among those celebrating the coronation of King Charles III.

They will come together with their local hosts, and families from RAF Lossiemouth and Kinloss Barracks for a coronation party for 170 people at Elgin Town Hall on Sunday afternoon.

All spaces are taken for the event organised by Elgin Rotary.

There are community events across Moray and Aberdeenshire.

How will you celebrate the Coronation?

Also, Monday May 8 has been designated The Big Help Out (volunteers day) when people will get involved in good deeds in their community.

Among the events are a litter pick at Spey Bay Whale and Dolphin Centre from 1-3pm, and a Cullen Sea School litter pick at 10.45am.

Other events: May 8 unless stated otherwise.

Lossiemouth Community Council – 8am Lossiemouth East Beach.

Hopeman Village Council – 10am to 2pm Beach clean and litter pick with other activities for all ages and bring your own picnic.

Findhorn Village Association – beach clean.

Glenlivet Village Association litter pick.

Rotary Elgin in conjunction with Innes Community Council – 1pm unveiling of Blether Bench and bring your own picnic.
