Two people have been charged in the wake of a drugs swoop in Huntly last Monday.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "On Monday, September 14, officers from the Marr Community Policing Team executed a drug search warrant at an address in Huntly.

"Class A drugs worth approximately £1000 were recovered and two people aged 20 and 22 were arrested and charged.

"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

"I would encourage members of our community to come forward with any information in relation to drug dealing.

"We will continue to work hard to target such individuals."

Calls can be made anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800555111.
