Two men arrested with a spate of housebreakings in the North East

Two men aged 22 and 24 have been arrested and charged in connection with a spate of housebreakings in Blairs, Banchory-Devenick, Findon and Portlethen recently.

The men are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, August, 28.

Inspector Di Meola of Kincardine and Mearns Community Policing Team has said: “Housebreaking is a horrible crime and tackling it remains a priority for North East Division.

“I would ask members of the public to remain vigilant and continue to report any suspicious activity to us so appropriate action can be taken. Local officers will continue to carry patrols in the areas which have been affected.”
