Tesco Community Champion, Carol Allen paid a visit to the school and kindly accepted over two and a half thousand crisps bags from the school which will now be recycled through Tesco.

The bags have been saved since the start of the school year and have now been sorted by the Eco Committee ready to be recycled.

Head teacher Fiona Eaton said: "Having started their Eco Schools journey this academic year, the committee have enjoyed raising awareness of recycling and caring for the environment through assemblies and also taking part in whole school days of action such as the recent hedge planting in the school grounds and creating flower beds."
