Tributes paid to after death of Aberchirder born carer

Family members have paid tribute to Elsa Leask aged 66 who passed away on Friday, November 10.

Elsa was born on December 17, 1956 to Lachlan and Agnes McKinnon in Aberchirder, graduating from Banff Academy in 1974.

In 1976, Elsa met James at Foggie Flower Show and were married soon after.

Raising a family together, Elsa and Jimmy went on to have two children, their sons Steven, and Neil.

In July last year after a career in the sector, Elsa retire from her position as a care professional for the elderly.

She would go on to spend her time away from the world of work reading and spending much treasured time with her sons, nieces, and nephews.

From the family they remember her through her brightness that she brought to their lives: ''She will be missed by us all and brought a lot joy and laughter in our lives''

A service will be held Wednesday, November 22 at 3.30pm at Aberdeen Crematorium, East Chapel to which all friends and family are respectfully invited.
