The high walk starts beside Lochindorb and follows a path into the hills passing Corrycharcle ruins at Glen Gour then passing Gorton Hill and on to Grantown, just about 10 miles, where the walk ends.

The low level walk is along the Dava Way, the old railway line, along to Grantown and is about seven and a half miles.

The last trek the group did was along the Cromdale Hills. The low level walk was along the Speyside Way from Grantown to Cromdale returning along the River Spey back to Grantown.
