The soloists in the Faure requiem will be Aled Lynn and Liam Dyker. Aled is tutored by Gillian Jack and has recently won the Robert Burns World Federation Lawrence Burns Memorial Trophy for his beautiful singing at the NE Scotland Burns Federation Festival. He is also a singer at NYCOS National Boys Choir and NYCGB Boys Choir. Liam was tutored by Morag Simpson from the age of seven to 19. He then went on to study with Judith Howarth at the University of Aberdeen, gaining a First Class Honours BMus degree followed by an MMus with Distinction. After a choir trip to Reichnau in Germany, he was invited back to star in their New Year Concerts

The concert will be led by Musical Director, Morag Simpson and accompanist, Shelagh Noden.

The proceeds from the concert will go to Auchterellon Under 5’s to help fund their building improvements for which they now have planning approval. Tickets £10 (children are free) are available from choir members, or on the door.
