The Drifters announce north-east tour date

The legendary sounds of The Drifters will grace P&J Live’s Hall C once again as they embark on their much-anticipated UK tour.

The band is set to enchant the audience with a repertoire of timeless classics including Saturday Night at the Movies, You’re More Than A Number, Come on Over to My Place, Under the Boardwalk, Kissin’ In The Back Row and many more.

They will perform in the Aberdeen on Friday, September 15.

Renowned for their musical legacy, the group have let an indelible mark, being honoured with an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, performed for the President of the United States and listed among the Greatest Artists of All Time by Rolling Stone magazine.

Under the guidance of Tina Treadwell (daughter of the group’s original founders, George and Faye Treadwell) The Drifters have enjoyed a remarkable resurgence in recent years with multiple successful UK tours including headline shows in major arenas and, most notably, the world-famous Royal Albert Hall in London for the first ever time in the group’s glittering career.

Three mobile customers can access presale tickets on Wednesday, January 31 at 10am, venue presale starts at 10am on Thursday, February 1 and tickets go on general on sale at www.ticketmaster.co.uk on Friday, February 2 at 10am.
