The Country Quines have raised more than £1500 from a charity concert and ceilidh, which took at the King Memorial Hall in Grange at the end of June.

They pulled off an amazing night for both of their charities – which were Kayleighs Wee Stars and Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland.

A host of local young talent supported them on the night, including Strathspey Fiddlers, Abbie and Briony, Dodie Simmers, The Davidson Brothers, Jessimen Dancers and Keith Grammar School Pipeband.

Compere Rory Smith kept the event on track, sound co-ordinated by Calum Stuart and the mountains of raffles were announced by Richard Nye.

The evening was rounded off with a fantastic ceilidh with lots of dancing to the Strathspey Fiddlers.

The girls handed over the money to both charities on Wednesday, September 25, with £750 going to each charity.

The Country Quines thanked everyone, including friends, family, colleagues and local businesses who donated raffles for their "kindness and generosity".
