Thainstone's live online auction continues to see high demand from online buyers

Auctioneering company, Thainstone Specialist Auctions (a division of ANM Group) held their most recent online sale of the year of plant, equipment, machinery, and commercial vehicles at the Thainstone Centre which featured an entry of more than 1145 lots and achieved an excellent sales rate of 86.4 per cent.
A timed online auction of builder’s equipment was also held in the run up to the sale.
Mark Barrack, Head of Thainstone Specialist Auctions, said: “We are thrilled to be able to deliver another strong live online sale of this scale, providing remote live bidding and the independent support of an auctioneer, to ensure the best and fairest price on the day for buyers and sellers.
"The market continues to see great demand with more than 653 online bidders taking part in this sale.”
Strong prices were met across all categories, including a Kalmar DCE90-6 Masted Forklift from the tractors, telehandlers and plant equipment section selling for £20,500, followed by a JCB JS160HC Tracked Excavator from the same category selling for £19,000.
The small plant section saw a 2016 Polaris Ranger Buggy RTV achieve £7700 and a Bunning 80 Rear Discharge Muck Spreader from the implements and machinery section sold for £8400.
Within the light commercials and 4x4 section a 2017 VW Amarok sold for £18,400 and with the heavy commercials section a 2009 DAF LF FA45.160 Road Sweeper reached £13,500.
The trailers and containers category saw an IW Tri Axle Livestock Trailer achieve £3400 and lastly the Builders Equipment section saw a set of 4No 7 ½ ton Commercial Vehicle Column Hoists sell for £2,700.
