It was confirmed this week that a temporary set up is to be created at the J G Ross premises at Highclere and will open on Tuesday, October 13 at 1pm.

Thereafter it will be open from 7am till 5pm, Monday to Saturday and Sunday from 10am till 5pm.

While the main post office branch remains on West High Street in the town centre, Inverurie's second post office which was located at Burghmuir Drive closed down in July 2019 after the resignation of its postmaster and concern over its financial viability.
