Moray set for warm end to the week as temperatures near 30 degrees Celsius

MORAY is set for a scorching end to the week with temperatures to near 30 degrees Celsius.

Elgin and Forres are set to receive the majority of the warm weather – with temperatures to hit 28 degrees in Elgin today and tomorrow.

Forres, according to the Met Office, will see temperatures of 27 degrees Celcius tomorrow. Unfortunately for Forres folk, a thunderstorm is also set to strike in the middle of the afternoon.

Lossiemouth and its East Beach are expected to be 26 degrees Celcius.

Findhorn, like Forres, is set for a thunderstorm, with temperatures 26 degrees Celsius in Buckie.

Keith is set to peak at a cooler 24 degrees Celcius.

A thunderstorm warning is in place UK-wide from Friday at noon until Saturday at 9am.
