Aberdeen comedy fans have another cracking night out to look forward to as critically acclaimed multi-award nominated Suzi Ruffell gets set to visit with her brand new tour, Snappy.

She will perform her new show at The Lemon Tree on Tuesday, November 14.

Suzi Ruffell likes things snappy: her stand up, her decisions and her suits.

Her brand new show is all about settling down (but not settling), becoming a mother (without becoming mumsy) and still worrying about everything – of course she is – have you seen the news?

The comedian's last tour, Dance Like Everyone Is Watching received critical acclaim and was recorded as an Amazon special.

Suzi has also appeared on numerous shows such as Live At The Apollo, The Jonathan Ross Show, QI, The Last Leg, and Womanhood to name but a few.

Suzi is also best known for her hugely popular podcasts Like Minded Friends and Out.

The suited and booted stand-up comedian has had five sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, racking up critical acclaim from reviewers and audiences alike.

Suzi’s previous tour, Dance Like Everyone’s Watching, gained her a nomination for Best Stand Up Show in the National Comedy Awards 2021. And now she’s back with her brand new tour, Snappy.

Suzi continues to grace screens with appearances on numerous TV shows such as Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, The Jonathan Ross Show, Dating No Filter, Channel Hopping with Jon Richardson, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, The Last Leg, and There’s Something About Movies to name but a few.

The 2018 release of Suzi’s stand-up show Keeping It Classy for Live From The BBC saw a clip gaining more than 44 million views on Facebook, and she was nominated for Outstanding Female Comedy Entertainment Performance in the National Comedy Awards for her hosting duties on Comedy Central’s Yesterday, Today and The Day Before in 2021.

A regular on BBC Radio 4 shows including The News Quiz and The Now Show, Ruffell also co-hosts the hit podcast Like Minded Friends with Tom Allen.

2020 saw Suzi hosting a brand-new radio show on BBC Radio 2 called Explicable Me as well as launching her own hit podcast series, Out with Suzi Ruffell, now on its fourth series, and which celebrates the lives of LGBT+ people and "coming out" through interviews with star studded guests.

Suzi’s Amazon special Dance Like Everyone Is Watching was released in 2022 to critical acclaim.

Aberdeen show promoter Doug Taylor said: “We’re incredibly excited to be bringing multi-award nominated Suzi Ruffell to our programme of Aberdeen shows.

"With a string of Edinburgh Fringe Festival sell out runs under her belt, we’re sure tickets will be ‘snapped’ up in no time at all.”
