Strawberry teas prove a popular weekend treat

Local musicians and a table loaded with locally produced summer fruit was the setting for this year’s Rothienorman Parish Church Strawberry tea.

On an afternoon with variable weather conditions and serenaded with a trio of accordions and local talent, parishioners turned out in numbers to enjoy good music, good food and company.

And over in Ellon, Strawberry teas proved a real draw at St Mary's on the Rock for a fundraiser organised by Margaret Stott and friends in aid of CHAS (Childrens Hospices Across Scotland).
