Stagecoach introduces Timetable changes in the Buchan area

Stagecoach has said that from August 22, there will be minor changes to some services in Aberdeenshire with new links that will allow pupils to travel by bus to Ellon Academy and Nescol Fraserburgh Campus.
Service changes -
Service 26 (Stonehaven – Laurencekirk) – The first departures from Stonehaven at 5.38am and 6.49am (Mon-Fri) will now operate the full route via Drumlithie and Glenbervie
Service 49 – (Inverurie – Oldmeldrum - Ellon) – The 11.47am departure from Inverurie on Saturday will operate via Udny Green.
Service 69C –(Peterhead - Fraserburgh) – On Nescol Fraserburgh college days, a new journey (operating as service 69C) will depart Peterhead Back Street at 7.47am arriving at Nescol Fraserburgh Campus at 8.36am.
On college days, a return journey will depart Nescol Fraserburgh Campus at 4:15pm (Mon-Thurs) or 4pm (Friday), arriving in Peterhead at 5.05pm (Mon-Thurs) or 4.50pm (Friday).
Service X60 (Peterhead - Ellon - Aberdeen) – The 8am weekday journey from Peterhead Interchange will be revised to depart Grange Road at 7.15am, Waterside at 7.20am and Peterhead Interchange at 7.30am.
This journey will additionally serve Ellon Academy at 8.15am.
The 3pm departure from Aberdeen Union Square will additionally serve Ellon Academy at 3.45pm, with minor adjustments to the rest of the journey.
A new journey will depart at from Aberdeen Union Square at 2.20pm (Wednesday-Friday, school-days only), serving Ellon Academy at 3pm before continuing to Peterhead.
Service S61 (CrudenBay – Ellon Academy) - This new service will operate on school-days from Cruden Bay at 7.34am operating direct to Ellon Academy via Hatton and arriving at the school at 8.15am.
In the afternoon, the return journey will depart Ellon Academy at 3.40pm (Mon/Tues schooldays) or 3pm (Wed-Fri schooldays), arriving in Cruden Bay at 4.24pm (Mon/Tues) or 3.44pm (Wed-Fri).
The new links to Ellon Academy and Nescol Fraserburgh will provide more opportunities for school pupils and college students to travel by bus.
Customers aged 21 and under can travel on bus services across Scotland for free with their Under 22 concession card.
