Sinclairs of Rhynie, on Duke Street, was awarded the top honours in the annual contest, organised by Huntly Community Council.

The shop, for its efforts, was handed the competition’s shield along with a certificate.

Huntly Community Council chairman Tony Gill said shop staff had been “delighted” by the win.

He added: “The shops and businesses made a great effort.

“They got into the spirit of Halloween with their impressive window displays – making it a difficult decision to select a winner.”
