Special Easter food event at Deveron Projects in Huntly

HUNTLY is set for a fascinating evening, learning about easter-themed Italian cooking.

Part of Deveron Project's Food Chain series, Beatrice Fettes will sharing three Italian dishes featuring great seasonal ingredients.

One of her dishes is a Torta Pasqualina, or Easter pie with wild garlic, greens, eggs and cheese in puff pastry.

Taking place on Monday, March 25, from 6pm to 8pm at Square Deal, spaces are free but Deveron Projects suggest a £5 donation.

A Deveron Projects spokesperson said: "Food Chain is a monthly group cook-along where we explore the rich culinary backgrounds and knowledges resident in our communities, by learning someone else's recipe, and sharing it together for dinner.

"We're always keen to hear from folks who'd be up for sharing a dish at a future workshop, or want to nominate someone who makes something delicious – get in touch if this is you!"
