Soup and Sweet support in Inverurie for Christian Aid

ST Andrew's Soup and Sweet events are quite famous in the town and the Church hall on High Street, Inverurie filled rapidly with folk eagerly soup-supping and sweet sampling.

Home-made varieties included lentil, tomato and sweet potato and chicken and rice and the sweet table was laden with raspberry roulade, trifles, cheesecakes, chocolate cake and traditional apple crumble.

Strong community support helped the event raise £512 for Christian Aid.
