Graeme runs a communications and campaign business and has worked on a range of projects in the area in the past, including on renewable energy and education.

Speaking after selection, Graeme said: “I am very proud to be Scottish Labour’s candidate for Aberdeenshire East for the upcoming Scottish Parliament election.”

“I will be working hard to set out Scottish Labour’s bold vision for a post-Covid society and to ensure fairer services and better opportunities in Aberdeenshire East, which has been failed by 14 years of an SNP government that has long since run out of steam and ideas.”

“Scottish Labour under the leadership of Anas Sarwar will focus on what unites us, not what divides us.

"That’s why this election must be about delivering a National Recovery Plan that has at its heart creating jobs, catching up on education and rebuilding our NHS.”

“We can’t rely on the SNP to focus on the recovery and we can’t expect Boris Johnson’s Tories to deliver a recovery that works for us all.

"Only a vote for Scottish Labour can ensure we deliver a Parliament that focuses on what our families and communities need.”
