Scholfield Clarke saxophone duo set for Inverurie performance

The Inverurie Music concert season continues with the third performance of the year which takes place on Friday, February 9 at Inverurie Town Hall at 8pm and will be given by the Scholfield Clarke Duo: saxophonist Richard Scholfield and pianist Iain Clarke.

The Scholfield-Clarke Duo’s performance promises a unique blend of jazz-tinged, impressionist pieces, luscious romances, and angular minimalism.

So prepare to be transported through the evolution of the classical saxophone over the past century.

The duo’s dynamic and energetic stage presence is a testament to a musical camaraderie that has flourished over a decade.

The concert also features a brand- new work by leading composer John De Simone.

Tickets for the concert are £13 for general admission and are free for under 25s in full-time education and for those receiving disability or low-income benefits.

You can obtain tickets in advance via eventbrite at Novello giftshop, Inverurie and they will also be available on the door.
