The school received £500 of funding from the Rotary Club of Keith to upgrade the garden and, thanks to work put in by the janitors, it has been revitalised and is now a learning space for the school's pupils.

Since the new flower beds were installed, pupils have planted different types of fruit and vegetables. The school has also started to plant a herb garden.

Kathryn Fraser, a teacher at Keith Primary School, said: "The school janitors have gone above and beyond to create such a wonderful space for the kids.

"The garden is now used by pupils regularly and is a great learning space for everyone to enjoy."
