Following a successful fundraising for Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance - SCAA via JustGiving which raised £430 plus £102 Gift Aid, the Rotary Club of Inverurie has matched the donations with an additional £500.

As spokesman Jim Sommerville added: "In addition, we also received a fantastic donation of £1,311 from the former Cushnie Shooting Syndicate which no longer operates and selected SCAA as their charity to donate the balance of their funds.

"Thanks to former syndicate members who are Rotary Club members, we have also been able to add that to our donation.

"That means our effort has brought in over £2300 to help support this this invaluable, life-saving service.

"But it’s never too late to boost SCAA’s funds and we will keep our JustGiving page open for the time being at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/RotaryClubofInverurie."
