The children, who have all been supported either by The Archie Foundation or NHS Grampian, will tread the boards from 7.30pm on Saturday, May 4.

Sponsored by TEXO, the variety show will be made up of 16 acts, each of which will celebrate the children’s unique talents and abilities.

Parents, families, friends and the general public will get the chance to get their hands on much sought after tickets this Saturday, February 10.

Cassie McGunnigle, fundraising manager at The Archie Foundation, said: “Plans for the Variety show are really coming together. The acts that will perform on the night have now all been selected, and rehearsals are underway.

“There’s a real buzz of excitement around the event and it’s fantastic to see the lift that our performers are already getting from the experience ahead of the event at

The Tivoli Theatre, which is kindly supporting our Variety Show.

“We hope that as many people as possible will come along to see the Variety Show and support our stars as they perform on stage - we want the theatre to be packed with a supportive audience who will show their appreciation for the children’s performances.

“As well as raising vital funds for The Archie Foundation this event is also giving the children the opportunity to take part in an unmissable experience. Some of them have come to The Archie Foundation or NHS Grampian because of an injury, and others because of illness or to receive bereavement support. This show is a chance for them to do something completely different.”

Speaking about its involvement with the Variety Show, TEXO’s managing director, Chris Smith, said: “We're thrilled to be sponsors of The Archie

Foundation's Variety Show this May.

“The Archie Foundation plays such a vital role in supporting local families facing unimaginable challenges, and we're proud to play our part in ensuring the success of this show. The Variety Show promises an inspiring evening to celebrate the courageous children that Archie’s supports, bringing the local community together to raise crucial funds for The Archie Foundation’s essential work.”

Cassie added: “We received fantastic support from TEXO as our main sponsor and also from many other local businesses. We’ve been blown away by the number of people getting in touch to see how they can get involved. Big thanks has to go to our band, Glitz. They have been amazing, not only providing the music for the rehearsals and on the night, but also bringing incredibly positive energy to the event and helping everyone to be part of something really special.

“We still have some business sponsorship opportunities available, if anyone is interested in helping to support the Variety Show they should contact me by emailing hello@archie.org.”

Tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £12 for children.
