Roadworks set to close section of the A97 near Aberchirder for four weeks

Due to resurfacing work being carried out by Breedon, Aberdeenshire Council will be implementing a closure and 30mph speed limit on the A97 Aberchirder to Huntly road from Auchintoul to Sheep Park for four weeks from Monday, January 24.

Site notices will be erected in due course indicating the temporary restriction to traffic and the following diversions:

A97 to B9001 from the A97 to Glendronach, B9024 at Glendronach to A947 near Turriff

Turriff via Queens Road, Duff Street, B9025 at Market Street, Church Street, Gladstone

Terrace, Deveron Street, Deveron Road. B9025 to A97 at Aberchirder. Aberchirder via South Street to A97. A97 to Bridge of Marnoch.
