A new supported steel pipe bridge has been built to ensure that the town’s sewer network can continue to serve customers and protect the local environment for years to come.

Scottish Water Corporate Affairs Manager Gavin Steel said: "We’re very pleased this project has now been completed. The investment we’ve made will ensure this crucial link in the town’s sewer network continues to serve the community and protect the River Isla from pollution far into the future."

aBV Project Manager Raymond Hope added: "This was a sensitive project which took place in the heart of the community and while our team on site tried to keep any disruption to a minimum, we would like to thank local residents for their patience and understanding while we completed this essential work."
