Audiences are giving Aberdeen Student Show all tens with this year's production of Dirty Danestone.

Champion dancer Elle (Rick) catches the eye of Dane (Stone), but unfortunately she's already partnered with the son of Aberdeen dancing queen Dinah Kerr, Wayne.

Oh, and Dane's been blessed with two left feet!

Rivalries unravel as Aberdeen's students boogie, salsa and even twerk their way into the hearts of the audience; just remember that naebody pits Grunny in a cupboard!

There's joy abound with upbeat songs, energetic dances and a large dose of local humour which never fails to delight.

The students' hard work shines through as they bring the story to life, managing to provide an evening of light hearted entertainment which in turn benefits north-east charities.

The last student show, Freezin, raised over £114,000 for local good causes and here's hoping that Dirty Danestone can enjoy similar success.

Dirty Danestone is shimmying across the stage of His Majesty's Theatre until Saturday, April 23, and for more information and tickets you can visit Aberdeen Performing Arts Box Office.
