Resurfacing leads to A975 closure near Longhaven

To allow Aberdeenshire Council to undertake essential resurfacing works in Buchan, they will be closing the A975 from the A90 near Longhaven to Cruden Bay for five days from Monday, August 15.

Access will be provided for vehicles requiring access to properties but this may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage

As they cannot divert traffic onto roads which are not suitable for larger vehicles, the diversion route is via the A975 to A90, A90 south, A90 onto slip for B9000, B9000 west to A975, A975 to Main Street, Newburgh, Main Street onto A975, A975 to Aulton Road Cruden Bay, Aulton road onto Bridge Street, Bridge St onto Errolston Road, Errolston Road onto A975.
