Repair work at Banff Bridge causing traffic delays

Repair work at the A947/A98 Banff Bridge is currently causing delays in the town and in Macduff.

Work is being carried out to repair a damaged gully.

An Aberdeenshire Council Roads spokesman said: "Works are currently ongoing to repair a damaged gully.

"Traffic lights are currently in operation, however we are aware some drivers are ignoring the red lights which affects the light sequencing meaning longer waiting times. Please adhere to the signals."
