Reminder: Santa set to fly into Turriff thanks to Morayvia's Jet Provost

Santa's aeroplane is set to make a special visit to Turriff on Saturday, December 23.

Santa will be on his sleigh heading off from his special landing point at Erroll Place in the town and will be getting a helping hand being pulled by a decorated tractor and other vehicles providing support from Turriff and District Vintage and Classic Club.

Thanks to Morayvia Museum, Kinloss he'll be taking to the streets in Santa's Aeroplane and they have also kindly donated prints and vouchers to help raise funds for Maggies Aberdeen.

Each year the Wood family in Errol Place welcome Santa to the town and this year the Christmas lights are on everyday from 4pm till 8pm.

The procession leaves at 5pm stopping off at Turriff Hospital , Deveron Court , Dawson Court , Sim Gardens, (Done Earlier ) Blackwood Home (Done Earlier) to hand out some sweets and biscuits .

The route will be weather permitting - Erroll Road, Balmedie Rd, Turriff Hospital, Cowan Den , St. Congans Den, part Mayfield Rd, Roseacre Cres, Hatton Rd, Easterfield Rd, Highfield Walk, Woodlands, Woodlands Cres, Crown St, Victoria Ter, Dawson Court , Schoolhill, High St, turn at roundabout, Main St, Market St, Forglen Cres, Meadowbank Rd, Deveron Road, Knockie Rd, Sunny Hill Pl, Westbrae Cres, Hillcrest Rd, Deveron Road, Church Ter, Duff St, High St , High St Car Park , High St , Balmellie St, Erroll Rd , Erroll Pl .
