Quensh team supports Newburgh beach clean-up

A team of work colleagues from Quensh Specialists Limited swapped the office for the beach as part of an environmental awareness campaign to support a local beauty spot.
The group from Ellon-based Quensh joined forces with another local business, J+S Subsea, on Friday to take part in a clean-up effort at Newburgh Beach, where they collected 138kg (or just over 300lbs) of plastic and other waste.
Clothing kits and gear were supplied by East Grampian Coastal Partnership (EGCP), an organisation promoting the sustainable development and management of the East Grampian Coast.
The Quensh team then continued the ‘support local’ movement by enjoying lunch at new local venue, the OGV Taproom at Newburgh Beach.
Quensh Managing Director Andy James said: “The beach clean-up provided a fun and hands-on opportunity to bring our teams together to help make a difference to our local environment.
“It was a great chance to empower the team and inspire change to keep our local beach looking beautiful for all to enjoy.”

The company has recently added 11 new members of staff to its team in the last six months, thanks to sustained growth across its operations.
The upward trend has also been driven by the recent addition of a sustainability and ESG (Environmental & Social Governance) Advisory Services arm to the business.
Quensh operates from bases in Ellon, Aberdeenshire and Perth, Western Australia, and currently provides HSEQ and HR consultancy services to over 100 customers worldwide.
