Staff and pupils at Meiklemill Primary School have shared their fun challenge on social media which has now been viewed over 1200 times.

Deputy head teacher Lorna Keith said: "Many schools and groups have been producing online clips and videos to help them stay connected and to raise a smile during this unprecented time in our lives.

"After the parent of one of our P7 pupils suggested it, we began to gather video clips of children and staff passing a toilet roll to one another.

"We called ours 'The Meiklemill Lockdown Loo Roll Lob'.

"Amazingly, for a school our size, we were sent around 170 clips and the job of editing those together fell to my son, Scott.

"The clips involved straightforward throws through to Spiderman, Darth Maul, an Oomoa Loompa, children popping out from unusual places, lots of football kicks, gymnastics, a funny bump from a swing, to name but a few.

"All our teachers took part as did our head who finished off the video.

"We uploaded the video to our school's You Tube Channel and expected to have maybe around 200 views, but its proved really popular"
