Public consultation to be held for latest offshore windfarm near Peterhead

Simply Blue Energy are holding pre-application consultation (PAC) events regarding applications for the proposed Salamander Offshore Wind Farm approximately 35 kilometres km east of Peterhead.

The project will be supported by an export cable making landfall approximately 2.5 km to the north of Peterhead.

A Virtual Exhibition Launches on Monday June 5 and is available until Friday, 23 June, and can be found (along with other information on the project) at: www.salamanderfloatingwind.com.

Public consultation events will also be held next week in Peterhead and Crimond, as follows:

Wednesday, June 7, 2pm - 8pm at Peterhead Football Club, Balmoor Stadium, Balmoor Terrace and on Thursday 8 10am - 2pm at Crimond Public Hall, Logie Road East, Crimond.
