Professor David Wilson, the renowned UK criminologist, best-selling author, broadcaster, and former prison governor, will embark on a 14-date Scottish tour this autumn, ‘Murder at Home’ which comes to Aberdeen's Tivoli Theatre on Sunday, October 8.

Fresh from the success of his ‘My Life with Murderers’ UK Tour earlier this year, Wilson will take to the stage once again with an all-new show touring throughout his home country beginning in Edinburgh on October 3.

The home is where the heart is, but it is also the most common place for murder. ‘Murder at Home’, based on Wilson’s best-selling book of the same name, will uncover the dangers that can exist where we least expect them.

David Wilson’s knowledge of murder is unparalleled: in this show he will talk audiences through each part of the house, explaining how the use of each room has changed over time; the potential weapons they contain, and how these factors combined can lead to murder.

After opening in Edinburgh, Wilson will travel to multiple venues across Scotland before culminating in Inverness on November 6.

He will delve into the infamous and lesser-known true crime cases and discuss how everyday violence can touch us all.

Announcing the tour, David Wilson said: “I am delighted to be touring in Scotland again, and this time visiting towns and cities that I was unable to speak in on the last tour. I am looking forward to once again engaging with Scottish audiences, about true crime, violence, and murder.

"Despite what I am going to talk about, it’s always nice to come home.”

Tickets go on sale on August 18 at 10am from ProfessorDavidWilson.co.uk

Professor David Wilson is the best-selling author of the gripping books Murder at Home, My Life with Murderers & A Plot to Kill.
