Pride And Prejudice* (*Sort Of) by Isobel McArthur after Jane Austen, is returning to Scotland following a hugely successful West End run at the Criterion Theatre where it won the prestigious Olivier Award for Best Comedy.

The play will run at Aberdeen’s His Majesty’s Theatre from Thursday, October 13, to Saturday, October 15.

This unique and audacious retelling of Jane Austen's classic love story was originally commissioned to 28 year old Isobel by Glasgow's Tron Theatre in 2018.

It was performed at the Lyceum in Edinburgh and had a short UK tour before opening in the West End in 2021.

Pride And Prejudice* (*Sort Of) is the first Tron commissioned show to win an Olivier Award.

Men, money and microphones will be fought over in this irreverent but affectionate adaptation where the stakes couldn’t be higher when it comes to romance.

The show features a string of pop classics including Young Hearts Run Free, Will You Love Me Tomorrow and You’re So Vain.

It’s the 1800s, it’s party time...let the ruthless matchmaking begin.
