FOUR people in Keith have landed themselves £1000 thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Mid Street neighbours picked up the cash prize when AB55 5AH was announced as a People’s Postcode Lottery Daily Prize winner this morning.

This draw was promoted by Amnesty International UK, which has received more than £8.1 million in funding to help protect women, men and children wherever justice, freedom, truth, and dignity are denied.

Lots of local causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support. The next opportunity for local charities to apply for funding raised by players will be in August.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson said: "A huge congratulations to our winners in Keith today – what a way to kick start the weekend!

"I’m sure the windfall will help lift their spirits and I hope they can treat themselves to something special.”
