Police renew appeal to trace woman missing from Tarves area in Aberdeenshire

Enquiries are ongoing to trace Ruth Watt, who was reported missing from the Tarves area of Aberdeenshire.

The 51-year-old was last seen on Mackie Avenue, around 4pm on Tuesday, June, 21.

She is described as being around 5ft 8in in height, with long red/auburn hair.

When last seen she was wearing a black jumper and blue jeans.

Ruth may be driving a blue Suzuki Ignis, registration SV22 WSL.

Sergeant Stuart Gordon said: “Enquiries are ongoing to trace Ruth and I am appealing for the help of the public.

“I am appealing for anyone who may have seen Ruth, her vehicle which is quite distinctive, or who has any information on her whereabouts to contact us.

“Ruth has links to the Tarves, Ellon and Huntley areas of Aberdeenshire.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 2838 of 22 June, 2022.
