Police information appeal after sports pavilion at Banff's Canal Park broken into

Police in Banff are appealing for witnesses after a break-in and damage to the sports pavilion at Canal Park.

The incident happened between 3.30pm on Sunday, February 5 and 10.30am on Monday, February 6.

Entry was gained to the premises and the interior was vandalised.

PC Zubaj, the community officer dealing with this incident said: "I would appeal to anyone with information on this incident to contact police.

"The building is used by various sports clubs in the town and it is an important part of the community.

"If you saw anyone in and around the pavilion during these times please call in."

Anyone with information is urged to call 101, or alternatively the registered charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting incident 0857/6th.
