The vehicle has been described by a witness as "like a ford transit flatbed and had a ladder hanging off the top of the vehicle that went through the windscreen of the coach and two side windows.

"The vehicle had school children on board with several children injured along with the driver.

"The driver did amazingly well to be able to stop without going off the road as he was showered in glass."

The vehicle drove off and did not stop - any help tracking the vehicle and driver can be made to Police Scotland via 101.
